Get Rid Of The Suntan Overnight With These Natural And Effective Facepacks

No matter how much we restrain ourselves from going out in the sun or cover ourselves with scarfs, umbrellas, sunscreen lotions or whatsoever, the sun tan gets to us anyway. We even cancel our plans of going to a beach vacation just because of the same.

We understand that getting the tan off of your skin can be a very tedious as well as annoying task and you might be spending a lot of your money and time in the salons just to get rid of it. So we bring to you some easy and the most effective anti-tan face packs from ingredients which are always there in your kitchen that will help you get rid of the ‘tan’.

1. Aloe Vera Gel

Apply a layer of Aloe Vera gel over your affected skin and leave it overnight. This should strictly be performed at night and in case you’re carrying it on in the day time, do not step out in the sun at all as Aloe Vera when reacts with UV rays from the sun can further darken your skin.

2. Cucumber and lemon

Cucumber and lemon are also known as bleaching agent and hence are the best home remedy for tan removal. Mix, lemon, cucumber and rose water and apply on the tanned areas with the help of cotton. Lemon helps your skin get the lighter color whereas cucumber and rose water makes your skin feel fresh. Wash you face with cold water after 10 minutes. For better results, repeat the activity every day.

3. Lemon and Sugar

Another way of getting free of tan is, mix lemon juice and granulated sugar and scrub it over your tanned skin. Keep it for approximately 15-20 minutes and then rinse it with cold water.

4. Papaya and Honey

Mix half cup of ripe and mashed papaya with one tablespoon honey. Apply the face pack for half hour and then wash thoroughly. The presence of enzymes in papaya lighten the skin tone and honey softens the skin.

5. Salt therapy

Wet the skin that has got tanned and generously rub salt over it with the help of a sponge. Rinse the salt afterwards and rub a slice of lemon over it. Rubbing the salt removes the top and affected layers of your skin and lemon gets you rid of the dead skin while also lightening the skin color.

6 .Tomato and Yogurt

Take three table spoon of tomato pulp, one tablespoon of lemon juice and once tablespoon of yogurt. Mix the three ingredients together and apply over the tanned areas. Keep it for 30 minutes until it dries and then wash it. Lemon helps in removing the dark spots, tomato pulp works as a natural toner and reduces the oiliness of skin and yogurt nourishes the skin.

7. Potato

In order to get the lighter and brighter skin, slice a potato thinly and apply the slices to your tanned skin. Alternatively, you can cut a potato in half and rub it on your tanned skin. Wash it after 15-20 minutes.

8. Gram Flour and Turmeric

Make a paste by adding mix gram flour, turmeric, and lemon juice into milk or rosewater. Apply the paste on you tanned skin and withing15 minutes, visible results would be shown after you wash it with cool water.

9. Milk powder and honey

Mix two tablespoon of milk powder, one tablespoon of honey and few drops of almond oil. Apply the pack, leave it for 20 minutes and wash. The result you’ll get will be a clearer skin.

10. Sandalwood and coconut

Mix one tablespoon of sandalwood powder with coconut water and add few drops of almond oil, apply for 20 minutes and wash.Sandalwood powder works as a natural skin cleanser and remove impurities, dead cells and blemishes the skin.
