We all have grown up listening to fairytales, watching our favorite Disney princesses on T.V. and admiring them for their beauty. But many artists these days are now coming up with extremely creative ways by giving a complete new look to these Disney princesses which is certainly more relatable to the women of today.
A New York-based artist Jonquel Norwood has drawn curvy versions of Disney Princesses under the series named “magic has no size”. The princesses are seen wearing modern dresses and highly confident and positive attitudes. And that, definitely has made them far more relatable and sexy! Jonquel Norwood said in an interview, “I was body shamed most of my life and like most, I believed I had to slim down in order to truly be a member of society.” But being hopeful that her artwork might dismantle this belief, she said, “I created these designs to celebrate the 67 percent of women who are unrepresented in today's media.”
