10 Types of Pictures that every Girl posts on social media

Recently I was intrigued how people were so busy updating their social lives online. I mean I always felt like, ohk there is nothing bad about it, but… really? Everything? From facebook to twitter and instagram the social world has been updating new things quite rapidly and girls do get obsessed with things pretty quick and easy. It is indeed really funny how posting pictures online can actually make you “especially girls” feel good. Our very own celebrities are doing it pretty often, on-set and off camera clicks, anything and everything. So here are the types of clicks that are floating nowadays.

1. THE “AM SO AMAZING” CLICKS

Well these usually include pictures that make no sense at all (haha) but just show how much you “love thyself”. Looking perfect and posing like you’re the next top model, pout, smile, keeping a straight face, the new makeup look, anything that works gets uploaded.

2. THE “NEW OUTFIT” CLICKS

Social media is so full with girls posting “I wore this today” clicks. And let’s be fair I’ve seen guys more obsessed with this category.  It’s another level of fashion industry going here. From street fashion to big brands topped with a big smile, they click it all and post.

3. THE “EMO GIRL” CLICKS

One depressed, dark, black and white effect click and key to this one is straight hair, oversized glasses and not a very happy click..!!  That’s a popular one too.

4. THE “TOO MANY FACES” CLICKS

This one is the most fun and my favourite amongst the lot. They pose with their perfect angle, make all the faces in the world and keep clicking. Some regular uploaders feel that it actually works best for their mood when they are not having a very good day.

P.S. You’ll always end up smiling.

5. THE ”WELL-SPENT WEEKEND” CLICKS

Shopping, going out, flaunting a new haircut, taking massage or sitting back having a low key, lazy one…at favourite coffee shop, or in comfy bed, just pampering themselves.  Key to this is just keeping it random and very natural.

6. THE “I WENT ALL ETHNIC” CLICKS

Heavy outfits, massive jewelleries like tikkas and passas, high heels, bold makeup, big winked liner or in contrast simple everydaywear, patialasalwar or churidar suits, light jhumkis, light kohl, juttis or flats. Key is going out atcousin’s or friend’s wedding or dressing up for diwali or poojas, its totally click-click time.

7. THE ”PARTY” CLICKS

Girls in their best party outfit, nice high heels, head high, looking all great, entering into loud music, with all the party props on: big funky heart or star shaped glasses, beer mug caps; insanely enthusiastic amidst excited crowd, few drinks and dance all night and few clicks to capture the crazy moment.

8. THE ”HAPPY BIRTHDAY” CLICKS

They get dressed, click lots of pictures with special friends, cakes, flowers, and flaunt that gift from boy friend. Usually a collage is uploaded which sums up the entire day with a big thanks to everyone for nice time and wishes.

9. THE “EXOTIC LOCATION” CLICKS

These are genuinely the good location clicks. Visiting some nice places and getting pictures clicked. Taking their best ones, putting some filters and some nice effects and coming up with a really nice caption and there it is TADA!!

10. THE “AM HAPPY WITHOUT YOU” CLICKS

This one’s come mostly while going through recent breakups. You follow them every day and yet want to show them that you don’t care and enjoying life even when they are not there. So, you become hyper active social animal and posting every shopping, outing and party picture becomes a necessity. Nicely dressed, too many shopping bags and extra smile is key to this click.

I’d say if it makes you happy then just do it, let the world know the character you own and the life you live. But make sure it is not giving other people too much access to your personal life. So, go ahead keep clicking and keep posting  ;-).
